Alaska Basin as seen from the Teton Crest Trail. The Teton Crest Trail traverses the entire Teton Range and takes 3-5 days to hike and often rises above 9000 feet. The trail stretches between 30 and 40 miles, depending on the route, and offers striking views of the Teton peaks throughout. The rocky peak in the distance behind the backpackers is the South Teton.
