Jenny Lake Boat Launch,
Jenny Lake is located in the heart of Grand Teton National Park, offering
breathtaking views of the Tetons. The lake also offers access to the park’s
most popular hiking canyon, Cascade Canyon, where hikers can enjoy Hidden Falls
and Inspiration Point after just a short but steep hike.
The Jenny Lake Boat Launch is located on the south end of Jenny Lake, just
next door to Jenny Lake Boating. The Boat Launch is a gravel launch designed
for private parties to launch motorboats (10 horsepower maximum) and
human-powered boats. Wind-powered vessels are not allowed on Jenny Lake, but
are allowed on Jackson Lake, just a short drive north of Jenny Lake. Jet skis
are prohibited on all lakes.
A fee of $20 is required for motorized boat use on Jenny Lake. The permit is
good for 7 days. An annual permit is available for $40. For non-motorized boats,
a fee of $10 is required, good for 7 days ($20 annual permit available). You
can purchase a permit at Moose, Colter Bay, or Jenny Lake Visitor Centers.
Jenny Lake is open for fishing from November 1st through

Jenny Lake Boating offers scenic trips across the lake for a fee. This concessionaire
is open from May 15th through September 30th, hours vary
